In the early 18 th century a powerful chief of the Jaipur forces, Hargovind Natani, erected a very beautiful palace amidst 18 acres of beautifully landscaped Mughal Gardens . With its high domes, chhattries and cupolas with intricate latticework done in the Rajasthani tradition, the palace became one of the finest examples of Indo-Saracenic style of architecture in the pink city of Jaipur.
