SITABARI FAIR

Sitabari Fair is held in the month of October- November

near Kelwara village in Baran District. Sita Bari in Kelwara village is the place where Sita-wife of lord Rama stayed during her exile period in the forest. This place have several myth related with god and goddesses. It is said that the lake in the village was created by Lakshmana-brother of lord Rama. In these two Kund people take a holy dip and offers prayers to the deity placed in the temples.
