Banganga fair is 2oo years old and is held every year in the month of May in Rajasthan. It is the biggest fair that takes place near historical township of Bairath in Jaipur. The stream is believed to be created by Anjuna to quench the thirst of Vishma Pitamah. From that time the lake is considered very sacred. People from different parts of the country attain the fair and take a holy dip in the lake.

Devotees take a holy dip in the lake and offer their homage at the temple of Krishna Ji and Radhaji temple. It is believed that taking a dip in the holy lake sins get washed away.
