Banganga fair is 2oo years old and is held every year in the month of May in Rajasthan. It is the biggest fair that takes place near historical township of Bairath in Jaipur. The stream is believed to be created by Anjuna to quench the thirst of Vishma Pitamah. From that time the lake is considered very sacred.
