Detailed Day Wise Breakup / Itinerary for Kailash Mansarovar Yatra

Duration : 15 Nights / 16 Days
Destinations : Kathmandu – Nyalam – Saga – Paryang – Mansarovar – Darchen – Tarboche – Dirapuk – Zuthulpuk – Dolma-la pass – Darchen – Mansarovar – Paryang – Nyalam – Zhangmu – Kathmandu

Day 01 : Arrival in Kathmandu
Tourism Points’ representative shall pick up from Kathmandu International Airport and transfer you to pre-booked hotel. Wash, change and relax at hotel. Spend rest of the day at leisure.
Enjoy welcome dinner and stay overnight at hotel.

Day 02 : Kathmandu
Have a very hearty breakfast at the hotel. Enjoy full day sightseeing tour of Kathmandu visiting Bhaktapur, Patan, Tibetan Refugee Camp, Pashupatinath Temple, Swayambhunath Stupa, Bouddhanath Stupa, etc.
Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.

Day 03 : Kathmandu – Nyalam
After an early breakfast, leave for Kodari (Nepal Boarder) and later drive to Tibet. Proceed to Zhangmu (Border Tibet Side) and continue drive to Nyalam. Dinner and overnight will be at lodge at Nyalam.

Day 04 : Nyalam
This day is reserved for the acclimatization; all meals will be provided at the lodge. Dinner and overnight will be at lodge at Nyalam.

Day 05 : Nyalam – Saga
After breakfast, drive to Saga en route pass Lalungla Pass and Brahmaputra River. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the camp or lodge.

Day 06 : Saga – Paryang
After breakfast, proceed to Paryang. Take lunch on the way. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the camp or lodge.

Day 07 : Paryang – Mt Kailash - Lake Mansarovar
Have Darshan of Mt Kailash and sacred Lake Mansarovar. Next, drive through Dayumla pass. Enjoy dinner and stay overnight at the camp.

Day 08 : Mansarovar Parikrama – Darchen
Take breakfast and drive to Darchen via Mansarovar Parikrama. Dinner and overnight will be at the lodge.

Day 09 : Darchen – Tarboche – Dirapuk
After breakfast at the lodge, drive to Tarboche. Begin trek for Kailash Parikrama to Dirapuk. Take light lunch on the way. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the camp.

Day 10 : Dirapuk – Zuthulpuk – Dolma-la Pass
Take breakfast at the camp. Trek to Dolma-La-Pass. After lunch and dinner, enjoy a relaxed overnight stay at the camp.

Day 11 : Zuthulpuk – Darchen – Mansarovar
Take breakfast at the camp. Trek to the point where Tourism Points’ Jeep will be waiting. Drive to Darchen and later drive to Lake Mansarovar. Dinner & overnight will be at the tented camp.

Day 12 : Drive to Paryang
After breakfast, drive to Paryang. Lunch and dinner will be provided. Dinner & overnight will be at Paryang.

Day 13 : Paryang – Saga
After breakfast, drive to Sage. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the camp.

Day 14 : Saga – Nyalam
After breakfast drive to Nyalam. Take light lunch on the way. Arrive at Nyalam. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the lodge.

Day 15 : Nyalam – Zhangmu – Kathmandu
Take your breakfast at the Lodge. Drive to Zhangmu, after the immigration and custom formalities transfer to Nepal border. Later drive to Kathmandu. On arrival at Kathmandu in Nepal, check-in at pre-booked hotel. Wash, change and relax. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.

Day 16 : Kathmandu – Onward
Take your breakfast at the hotel. Enjoy some shopping. Tourism Points’ representative will transfer you to Kathmandu Airport from where you will board flight for your onward destination.
