Taj Mahal : The splendid Taj Mahal is one of the most beautiful monuments in the world. It is India’s star tourist attraction and also one of the Seven Wonders of the World. Built as a love monument in pure white marble it is the ultimate symbol of eternal love between two souls. Noted for its matchless beauty the Taj Mahal is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This magnificent monument was built by great mughal emperor Shah Jahan in the memory of his most darling wife, Mumtaz Mahal.

Itmad-Ud-Daullah : In Agra you may see also the Baby Taj or Little Taj Mahal. The magnificent Itmad-Ud-Daullah Tomb is called as the Baby Taj or Little Taj Mahal. It is believed that its interiors are more beautiful than of the Taj Mahal. This magnificent Monument was built by mughal empress Noor Jahan in the memory of his father.

Agra Fort : Also known as the Red Fort of Agra, the Agra Fort is an impressive fort built by the mughal emperor Akbar during his reign. This splendid fort was expanded by Shah Jahan. This fort is considered as an excellent example of Indo-Islamic art & architecture. It is one of the most important forts in India. It is the place where great mughals – Humayun, Akbar, Jehangir, Shah Jahan and Aurangzeb – lived here. The fort complex houses many structures within the fort complex. The Agra Fort is also UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Fatehpur Sikri : Fatehpur Sikri is an historical city located the outskirt of Agra City. This historical city was built by great mughal emperor Akbar as his capital. But unfortunately he abandoned the city due to the scarcity of the drinking water. One can see here many historical monuments and ruins at Fatehpur Sikri. The city is often described as the Ghost City. Prominent tourist attractions in Fatehpur Sikri: Panch Mahal, Birbal’s House, Salim Chisti Tomb, Diwan-I-Aam, Diwan-I-Khas, Buland Darwaza (the largest gateway in the world), Jama Masjid, etc.
