Detailed Day Wise Breakup / Itinerary for Holiday In Shillong Hill Station

Destination : Guwahati – Kaziranga National Park – Shillong – Guwahati

Day 01 : Arrival at Guwahati
On arrival at Guwahati Airport, Tourism Point’s representative greets and transfers you to pre-reserved hotel. Wash, change and relax. Dinner & overnight stay will be at the hotel.

Day 02 : Guwahati – Kaziranga National Park (about 220 kms)
Take hearty breakfast at the hotel. Visit the famous Kamakhya Temple, a major Hindu pilgrimage site. Later drive to Kaziranga National Park. On arrival at Kaziranga, you will be transferred to your hotel pre-reserved at the Jungle Resort. In the afternoon visit the nearby tea gardens. Dinner & overnight stay will be at the resort.

Day 03 : Kaziranga National Park
Have a very hearty breakfast at the jungle resort. Later go for sightseeing tours in the famous Kaziranga National Park on elephant safari. After lunch explore the jungle by Jeep Safari. Dinner & overnight stay will be at the resort. Kaziranga is famous for one-horned rhinos, wild water buffalos, tigers, etc.

Day 04 : Kaziranga National Park – Shillong (about 280 kms)
After an early morning breakfast drive to Shillong. On arrival at Shillong, check-in at your hotel. Relax. In the evening visit the local market in Shillong for some local shopping. Dinner overnight stay will be at the hotel.

Day 05 : Shillong – Cherrapunjee – Shillong
After breakfast at the hotel take excursion trip to Cherrapunjee, once the wettest place in the world. Visit the famous waterfall Noh-Ka-Likai at Cherrapunjee. Return back to Shillong visiting Elephant Falls on the way. Enjoy scenic surroundings. Check-in at hotel at Shillong for dinner & overnight stay.

Day 06 : Shillong – Guwahati (about 100 kms)
Have a very hearty breakfast at the hotel. Go for morning sightseeing tour of Shillong visiting major attractions like Ward Lake and Hydari Park. After lunch drive to Guwahati. On arrival at Guwahati, check-in at your pre-reserved hotel. Relax. In the evening take a cruise on mighty Brahmaputra River. Dinner & overnight stay will be at the hotel.

Day 07 : Guwahati (Departure)
Have a relaxed breakfast at the hotel. Spend rest of the day at leisure till your depart for your onward journey.
