Kufri is a small but beautiful hill station in Shimla district of Indian state of Himachal Pradesh. It is located at very short distance of only 13 km away from Shimla, the capital city of Himachal Pradesh. Most tourists visiting Shimla must visit this tiny and picture-perfect hill station. It is located on the national highway no 22. The name Kufri derives its name from the word “Kufr” meaning a lake in the local language.

Kufri is the highest point in the nearby region. It has a Himalayan Wildlife Zoo where you can see highly endangered antelopes, felines and birds including Himalayan Mona. Himalayan Monal is the state bird of Himachal Pradesh. Kufri has emerged as a popular ski resorts in India during winter. It is a prominent destination in Himachal Pradesh for adventure and winter sports. There are a number of picnic spots, hiking and trekking trails in and around Kufri.

The best time to visit this tiny hill town is in summer, between April to June due to its cool and pleasant climate. In summers, tourists can enjoy the spectacular view of the adjoining verdant valleys and snow-capped peaks. Tourists can also visit this hill town in winter (between December and February) to enjoy snowfall and skiing. Kufri is today famous for its beautiful & serene environs and the cool & healthy atmosphere that passes through it.

Mahasu Peak (the highest peak in Kufri) and Indira Tourist Park, Himalayan Nature Park, etc are places of tourists interest in Kufri. One can hike through dense jungle around to the Mahasu Peak. The Indira Tourist Park offers spectacular vista of nearby locations.

Day 01 : Delhi – Shimla

Day 03 : Shimla – Departure
After breakfast at the hotel, spend your time at leisure. Finish your last minute shopping. In time, TP representative will transfer and drop you at Delhi Hotel / Airport.
