Coonoor Hill Station is a small tea garden town in the Nilgiri hills. It is one of the beautiful hill towns in Tamil Nadu. It is located at the distance of about 19 km away from Ooty – one of the most picturesque hill stations in southern India. Ooty is itself noted for its scenic beauty and lush tea gardens. In ancient times, Coonoor was the home to the Coon hill tribe.

Coonoor Hill Station is the first of the three hill stations in the Nilgiris – Ooty, Kotagiri and Coonoor. The beauty of Coonoor lies in grassy meadows, lush green tea plantations, and profusion of Rhododendrons, Sunflowers and Marigolds. Scenic surroundings and picturesque landscapes make Coonoor hill station a wonderful place to enjoy holiday vacations. It is primarily a small tea garden town where the weather remains pleasantly cool & cheerful all through the year. This hill town is physically divided into two parts – Lower Coonoor and Upper Coonoor.

Day 01 : Arrival at Bangalore
Welcome to Bangalore, the Garden City of India. On arrival at Bangalore (the capital city of Karnataka), Tourism Points’ representative will greet and transfer you to the pre-booked hotel. In the afternoon proceed to sightseeing tour in Bangalore. Places to visit in this town: Lal Bagh Botanical Gardens, Bull Temple, Cubbon Park, High Court, Vidhana Soudha, Industrial & Technology Museum, MG Road, Brigade Road, etc. in the evening, stroll in MG Road. Dinner & overnight stay will be at the hotel.

Day 02 : Bangalore – Mysore
Have a very hearty breakfast at the hotel. Drive towards Mysore visiting en route Srirangapatna - Tippu Sultan's Island Capital, Palace, and Fort. Upon arrival at Mysore, check into Hotel. In the afternoon, visit Chamdueswari Temple, Maharaja Palace (Mysore Palace) and Krishna Raja Sagar Dam. Enjoy light & sound fountain show at the Brindavan Gardens. Dinner & overnight stay will be at the hotel.

Day 03 : Mysore – Ooty
After an early breakfast, drive to Ooty, the Queen of Hill Stations in South India. Check-in at hotel upon arrival. In the afternoon visit the famous Botanical Gardens of Ooty. Explore Ooty beauty on your own and enjoy your holiday activities. Enjoy boat ride on lake. Dinner & overnight stay will be at the hotel.

Day 04 : Ooty – Coonoor – Ooty
After an early morning breakfast, take a full day excursion trip to Coonoor. Enjoy full day sightseeing in Coonoor Hill Station. In time return back to Ooty and check-in at your hotel for dinner & overnight stay.

Day 05 : Ooty – Bangalore

How to reach :-
The Coimbatore Airport is the nearest airport to arrive at Coonoor Hill Station. The Airport is well connected by daily flights with cities like Chennai, Bangalore, Kochi and Trivandrum. Coonoor is on the toy-train line between Mettupalayam (28 km) and Ooty. It is well connected by road with almost all the major cities and towns of the state. There are regular buses available from Ooty, Coimbatore, and Kotagiri.
