Pizhichil :
This is a relaxing, soothing and rejuvenating Ayurvedic treatment. In this process lukewarm medicated oils are used all over the body in a continuous process for 7 to 21 days. It is very useful in diseases like Paralysis, Nervous Disorders, Sexual Weakness, Hemiplegia, Arthritis, etc.
Abhyangam :
Also known as Uzhichil, in this treatment special typesof medicated oil is used t massage to whole body according to the diseases for 45 minutes for 14 day with specific implications to the 107 vital points of the body. It is very useful in diseases like Diabetic Gangrene, Obesity, etc.
Shirovasti :
In this Ayurvedic treatment system, lukewarm medicated oils are poured into the sleeve and allowed to remain on the head for a while. Oils are poured with a cap fitted on the head for 15 to 60 minutes per day. The duration of depends upon the severity of the disease, generally for 7 days. This treatment is highly effective for dryness of nostrils, mouth and throat. It is also useful in severe headaches, facial paralysis and some other Vatha originated diseases.
Njavarakizhi :
In this process the patients’ body is made to sweat by fomentation with bundle of linen filled with a bolus of Njavara rice that has been cooked in a milk and herbal diction. The fist sized bundle (Kizhi) is dipped every new and then in warm medicates kuzhambu. This Treatment is for all types of Rheumatism, Pain in the Joints, Emaciation of limbs, High blood pressure, Cholesterol and certain kinds of skindiseases.
Nasyam :
In this Ayurvedic treatment the application of certain herbal juice, medicated oils, medicated powder, etc are applied through the nostrils for 7 to 14 days. This process is called Nasyam. This treatment is highly effective in diseases like headaches, paralysis, mental disorders, and some kinds of skin diseases.
 Vasti :
In this treatment herbal oil, herbal extracts etc are applied through the rectum daily for a period 5 to 25 days. This treatment is for Arthritis, Paralysis, Hemiplegia, Numbness, etc.
